National Simultaneous Story time and Harmony Day

On Wednesday 22nd May the whole school met to read and perform "Alpacas with Maracas" including a "Talent Show".

We have our own Macka, we tasted pickles, we felt shaggy material, we listened to the guitar, we banged drums and shook maracas.

There was a talent show with loud crashing thrashing drums, staff dancing, Jessie tumbling, Caileb played the accordion and Jayden sang a rap song.

Following the story activity, Kathryn said a few words in remembrance of Graham Pampling and listened to a guest saxophonist perform a number while we reflected on Graham's contribution to our school.

Following this, some classes had a picnic. We also celebrated Harmony Day with students and staff invited to wear costumes reflecting their cultural background.

A fabulous day was had by all.
