Assessment and Reporting
Teachers assess student learning in the Australian Curriuclum key learning areas against their individual learning goals identified in their Individual Curriculum Plan (ICP).
Narbethong's Active Learning program also includes regular assessment of students' progress through the Functional Scheme developed by Dr Lilli Nielson. This assessment guides the development of individual learning goals and teaching in a range of developmental areas.
Reporting to parents occurs at the end of each semester.
NAPLAN (National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy)
Due to the complex educational adjustments needed for our students, we currently have no student who participates in NAPLAN.
