Thanks for dropping by!
Narbethong State Special School P&C Association appreciates you giving consideration to make a Tax Deductible Donation to support the school.
Here’s some quick information about the school:
Narbethong State Special School provides specialist education to students with a vision impairment and additional disabilities. Students often start attending Narbethong from soon after birth as part of the Early Childhood Development Program through to their formal schooling years of prep to year 12.
Narbethong has been providing specialist education in Woolloongabba since 1963. Students travel to Narbethong to access its specialised programs from all five local government areas in South East Queensland.
Narbethong is also home to the Statewide Vision Impairment Services team that includes The Alternative Format Library (AFL) and Education Low Vision Assessment Centre (ELVAC).
Providing specialist teaching and education to students with multiple impairments and complex medical needs comes with a high price tag. Specialised equipment and learning environments are required to meet the diverse needs and educational outcomes for each student.
Narbethong has a small but relentless P&C who work tirelessly raising funds and advocating for additional support to help meet some of these costs.
Donated funds will be prioritised for the following projects in 2024:
