Welcome to Narbethong State Special School

At Narbethong, we provide specialist teaching for students with vision impairment and additional disabilities. Eleven of our teaching staff have specific university qualifications in teaching vision impairment. Other teachers have gained thorough understanding through guidance and professional development over their years of work at the school.

Narbethong caters for students from birth with our Early Childhood Developmental Program, and students from Prep to Year 12 in our school-age program.

Also based on site at Narbethong are the region-wide Orientation and Mobility team and the state-wide Paediatric Low Vision Clinic.

Please feel free to look through this site to learn more about our school. There are many resources for students and adults supporting students with vision impairment, intellectual impairment and additional disabilities.
