Dear Parents, Families, Carers and Staff,
The P&C appreciate the significant commitment and contributions that everyone in the school community makes to support Narbethong State Special School. Your support is truly appreciated.
The P&C continues to raise funds through traditional avenues such as raffles, food drives, etc. These funds support a range of activities across the school including arts curriculum activities (incl. incursions and excursions), school house shirts (Lilli and Louis) as well as other identified needs. The P&C also regularly supports the school to apply for grants such as the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
The P&C are always open to suggestions of new and innovative ways to raise funds, however, we are aware some members of the school and local communities often ask how they can contribute to the school without needing purchase something through one of our many fundraising activities.
Given this we wanted to share the attached information with you about the school's Deductible Gift Recipient Fund. Over the past 18 months funds contributed have gone towards the school's new outdoor learning space (formerly accessible and inclusive playground) with building to commence very soon.
If you know of any businesses, companies, organisations or individuals who might be looking to make a tax-deductible donation towards a worthy cause we are asking if you could please share the attached information with them.
