Narbethong Cross Country
Our cross-country event is coming up in the last week of this term.
The cross-country is a “house" event for the school so please send students dressed in their house colours! This is a great opportunity for students to wear their house shirts if they have them.
Date: Wednesday, 23rd June
Time: Assemble at 9.30am. Event from 9.45am. There will be a post-event morning tea and disco following the last participant crossing the finish line.
Location: The course will commence in “taxi road" and use the path across the creek bridge between the “near park" and “Buranda school bridge" (a loop distance of approx. 2.5kms). This in an inclusive event with teachers differentiating the course length and mode of mobility to suit each student. Students may do a shorter course or do a second loop.
Permission forms will be sent home by class teachers. Please return page 2 of this form to give permission for your student to participate. This is a medium risk activity and the form may be signed by carers.
Volunteers? Yes please! Please register your availability to walk with a student by returning the slip below to your student's class teacher by Monday, 21 June.
